The Burma Photo Project I documented the work of seven humanitarian aid programs working in Burma and with Burmese refugees in Thailand. I created this project as a non-profit and donated the resulting digital images to each participating aid program, which they were able to use for promotions and fundraising. AMI (Aide Medicale Internacionale), providing water and sanitation to Rangoon’s poorest slum The AjA Project, teaching documentary photography in a Karen refugee camp BAJ (Bridge Asia Japan), drilling wells for drinking water in the Dry Zone JICA, performing reconstructive surgery and providing health care, job training, and prosthetics for leprosy patients near Mandalay YWCA Yangon, operating a day care and school for street kids in Rangoon PACT, empowering villagers economically through microfinance
